WHAT WE DO
We trade vegetable raw materials primarily from South America (e.g. amaranth, quinoa, canihua, cocoa, ...) and ensure traceability, transparency and reliability from cultivation to processing and distribution. We do research. We have a high level of expertise and international cooperation. We develop and market high-quality recipes and end products / finished products (also for private labels). We support our growers with social projects to improve their living conditions sustainably.
OUR PROMISE
Organic quality
We subject our products to strict and extensive controls. We work closely with accredited laboratories. Our quality standards begin with the raw material and are “produced” into the finished food through further processing. In this way, we receive high quality food with 100% certainty. We only use natural, original ingredients for our end products.
Traceability
Our suppliers are carefully selected, undergo a constant evaluation process and are visited several times a year by the AcanChia team on site. That is why we guarantee 100% traceability and transparency of our products.
Support healthy and balanced nutrition
Our products support a healthy, balanced diet and preventive health care. AcanChia products can benefit consumers who, for example, have a vegan or gluten-free diet or people with special nutritional needs, such as athletes or pregnant women. Our products are the basis for a modern, varied, health-conscious diet.
Fair trade and sustainability
We support growers in the sustainable cultivation of products and the preservation of their traditional food. That is why we work closely with them and support them through social projects. This hand in hand collaboration results in fair prices and fair wages for the growers.
OUR GOALS
Customer satisfaction: Customer satisfaction is our primary goal. Through close contact, we try to identify customer needs at an early stage and to find common solutions. Our scientific background makes it possible to implement special ideas wishes and to provide them with scientific information about our products.
Employee satisfaction: The qualification, information, motivation and satisfaction of all employees is a fundamental prerequisite for our company's success. The employees are trained regularly. Everyone should and may contribute their ideas to the implementation of the company's goals.
Basic scientific work: We actively carry out basic scientific work and accompanying research to explore new uses of raw materials. We are happy to pass on the knowledge that results from years of dealing with vegetable raw materials, extensive scientific know-how and international cooperation to our customers. Research and development can create new products and services for us and our customers in order to position themselves well in the market.
HISTORY
The company Acanchia UG & Co.KG was founded in 2013 in Kümmersbruck. Initially, the company dealt with the cultivation, research, development and trading of chia seeds as bulk goods. The range has been expanded to include other vegetable raw materials. AcanChia is now a specialist in high-quality vegetable raw materials.
The company has its own product development and implements customer requirements in addition to its own products. The further processing of our raw materials, such as grinding, cleaning, packaging, etc., is outsourced to external service providers and checked by internal incoming goods controls. Acanchia maintains personal supplier contact in South America and carries out scientific projects as well as social projects with local growers.
The term "Acan" is taken from the language of the descendants of the Aztecs, the Nahuatl. Here the expression "acanquenami" means "something healthy and whole, without flaws". "Acan" in our company name AcanChia® expresses that the extraction of high quality food is our top priority.
